Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, now leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) as a special government employee, claimed on Tuesday that an initial review of Social Security records revealed payments being made to individuals listed as 150 years old.

Musk Questions Validity of Extreme Age Records

"There's crazy things like, just a cursory examination of Social Security and we've got people in there that are about 150 years old," Musk stated. "Now, do you know anyone that's 150? I don't. They should be in the Guinness Book of World Records, they're missing out."

Commitment to Protecting Legitimate Benefits

Beyond the unusual age records, Musk also raised concerns about the lack of identifying information for a number of Social Security payments.

"There are a whole bunch of Social Security payments where there's no identifying information, like, why is there no identifying information?" he asked.

Despite raising these concerns, Musk reaffirmed that legitimate beneficiaries should receive their payments quickly and accurately.
