Swift also encouraged her 283 million followers to engage in the political process, saying, "I've done my research, and I've made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first time voters: Remember that in order to vote, you have to be registered!"
Swift concluded her post by referring to herself as a "childless cat lady."

Swift's reference to being a "Childless Cat Lady" was a pointed response to comments made by Trump's running mate JD Vance in 2021.

Vance had criticized Democratic leadership,
saying
, "We are effectively run in this country, via the Democrats, via our corporate oligarchs, by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they've made, and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too."

In contrast to Swift's self-description, Musk is reported to have 12 children with multiple partners over the past three decades.
