In a heated exchange during a House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform meeting on Tuesday, Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene drew strong reactions from fellow lawmakers by asserting that federal employees neither deserve their jobs nor their salaries. The committee convened to assess the sweeping changes taking place in government agencies, particularly the mass layoffs of federal workers and potential restructuring initiatives. Greene’s Defense of DOGE-Led Changes

She further escalated her stance by declaring, “Federal employees do not deserve their jobs.
