Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has expressed support for billionaire Elon Musk to become Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. Her remarks followed Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) suggesting the idea on X, formerly known as Twitter.

, “I’d be open to supporting [Musk] for Speaker of the House. DOGE can only truly be accomplished by reigning in Congress to enact real government efficiency.” She added, “The establishment needs to be shattered just like it was yesterday. This could be the way.”
