By Jake Beardslee · March 27, 2024

Shakopee, MN - Mike Lindell, CEO of MyPillow is set to be evicted from a warehouse facility in Shakopee, Minnesota after failing to pay over $200,000 in back rent and other charges, according to ABC News.  Gage Skidmore from Surprise, AZ, United States of America/Wikimedia

According to court documents, Lindell's company fell behind on rent payments to the property's owner, Delaware-based First Industrial, L.P., missing February and March payments totaling over $217,000, The Star Tribune reported.  Chad Davis from United States/Wikimedia

At a hearing on Tuesday, Scott County Chief Judge Caroline Lennon ordered that an eviction notice be issued as soon as the landlord files the necessary paperwork.  Gage Skidmore from Surprise, AZ, United States of America/Wikimedia

Lindell's attorney, Sara Filo, stated that the MyPillow CEO has "more or less vacated" the 4701 Valley Boulevard South premises already and does not intend to make further payment on the lease.  Gage Skidmore from Surprise, AZ, United States of America/Wikimedia

"At this point there's a representation that no further payment is going to be made under this lease, so we'd like to go ahead with finding a new tenant," Filo told the court.  Gage Skidmore from Surprise, AZ, United States of America/Wikimedia

The looming eviction comes as Lindell's personal wealth has shrunk amid his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results, despite lack of evidence, according to CNN.  Gage Skidmore from Surprise, AZ, United States of America/Wikimedia

The MyPillow magnate has claimed that voting machines were rigged to steal the election from former President Donald Trump.  Gage Skidmore from Surprise, AZ, United States of America/Wikimedia

"I will never shut up," Lindell stated on his FrankSpeech platform on Monday. "They can take it all, and I've said that. I've spent every dime I've had."  Gage Skidmore from Surprise, AZ, United States of America/Wikimedia

"I don't have any money left, but I don't have anything less than I had before," he added, saying he previously only owned "a pickup truck and a house I live in."  Gage Skidmore from Surprise, AZ, United States of America/Wikimedia

While facing eviction from the Shakopee location, MyPillow maintains a second warehouse in the same city.  My Pillow, Inc./Wikimedia

The removal from one of its facilities is the latest financial blow for Lindell's business in the wake of major retailers dropping MyPillow products due to the CEO's election claims.  Matt Johnson from Omaha, Nebraska, United States/Wikimedia
