Crockett Responds on X With Scathing Remark

Crockett, who has been a vocal critic of Trump's policies, clapped back on X (formerly Twitter), describing the insult as both “immature and inaccurate.” She posted: “Imagine being busy getting another honorary doctorate & delivering the commencement address to encourage & empower the leaders of ‘Today,’ and right before boarding your flight to depart, learning that diabolical delusional demented dumb Don was busy trying to challenge your IQ, again.”  Jack Gruber / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

A consistent critic of the Trump administration, Crockett has especially taken issue with efforts to dismantle diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, as well as the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk.  The White House / Wikimedia

Crockett’s Political Role and Background

Crockett has represented Texas’s 30th Congressional District since January 2023, succeeding longtime Democratic Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, who retired after nearly three decades in Congress.
