Hunter Biden’s daughter Naomi responded to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Wednesday after the congresswoman claimed that the president’s son “fled the scene” when she began speaking “the truth” about him at a House Oversight Committee hearing.

“Actually, it appears everyone fled the scene when she started lying,” Naomi Biden wrote on X.

Hunter Biden made a surprise appearance at the committee’s markup of a resolution to hold him in contempt of Congress for defying a December subpoena. His brief attendance sparked an intense partisan fight before he abruptly exited with his entourage.

In a tweet, Rep. Greene claimed “Hunter Biden fled the scene when I started exposing the truth behind the Biden Crime Family.” She added, “Too bad his daddy can’t save him this time.”

First Lady Jill Biden defended her son in a Thursday interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” saying “I think what they are doing to Hunter is cruel.” She expressed pride in his recovery from addiction.
