Republican lawmakers are expressing growing frustration with their colleague Marjorie Taylor Greene's unfounded claims about weather control following
recent hurricane devastation
in the southeastern United States.

Greene, a controversial representative from Georgia, has doubled down on her theory that Democrats can manipulate the weather.

Several of Greene's Republican colleagues have publicly criticized her statements.
Carlos Gimenez, who represents a hurricane-prone district in Florida, responded to Greene's X posts,
saying
, "NEW FLASH —> Humans cannot create or control hurricanes. Anyone who thinks they can, needs to have their head examined."

issued a press release
stating that "nobody can control the weather."

An anonymous House Republican described Greene's beliefs as "loony tunes," pointing out the inconsistency in her stance on climate issues,
