Biden to Deliver First Speech Since Leaving Office at Social Security Conference

Former President Joe Biden will return to the public stage for the first time since leaving the White House, delivering a speech at the national conference of Advocates, Counselors and Representatives for the Disabled (ACRD) in Chicago this Tuesday. The event, now sold out, will spotlight bipartisan efforts to safeguard and strengthen Social Security.

Blunt: Goal Is to Cut Red Tape While Protecting Essential Services

Alongside Biden, a roster of former public officials will join the event, including former Senators Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) and Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), as well as former Social Security Administrator Martin O’Malley. The panel is expected to discuss strategies for preserving the Social Security system while addressing inefficiencies.
