Some conservative commentators have suggested that a person described as a "whistleblower" from ABC News had information indicating that Vice President Kamala Harris received debate questions in advance and had an agreement with moderators regarding fact-checking.

These claims have not been substantiated by major news outlets.  Jasper Colt-USA TODAY

On Sunday, Greene posted on X, "The ABC whistleblower who claimed Kamala Harris was given debate questions ahead of the debate has died in a car crash according to news reports."  @mtgreenee / X

Four hours later, Greene posted an update, stating, "This story appears to be false, and I'm glad to hear it. We need a serious investigation into the whistleblower's report that Kamala Harris was given debate questions ahead of time from ABC!"  @mtgreenee / X

Greene's original post remained on the platform, accompanied by a community note indicating that the story originated from an unverified blog post.  @mtgreenee / X
