Controversial Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is facing criticism for promoting Christmas merchandise on Twitter that targets President Biden with calls for his impeachment and depicts him as “The Grinch Who Stole The Election.”
The Georgia Republican tweeted a link on Tuesday to her online Christmas store selling branded items through the Republican fundraising site WinRed. Products include $25 gift wrapping paper showing Biden as the Grinch with the slogan “Impeach Biden,” a $60 sweatshirt reading “The Grinch Who Stole The Election,” and a t-shirt that says “Proud Christian Nationalist.”
Critics accused Greene of trying to financially capitalize on the holidays with politically-charged merch: “Such a pathetic grifter,” tweeted user @Tradeshows2021. Another, @Jersey_Craig wrote: “This is how the GOP puts Christ in Christmas.”
