Marjorie Taylor Greene Does Pull-ups to Prove Trump Has ‘Strong Women’ Supporters

In an unusual fusion of politics and physical fitness, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene responded to billionaire Mark Cuban's comments about Donald Trump with a video of herself performing pull-ups in her home gym.  Gage Skidmore / Wikimedia

The controversy began when Cuban appeared on "The View," stating, "You never see him hanging around strong, intelligent women. Ever. It's just that simple," referring to former President Trump.  Gage Skidmore / Wikimedia

Greene, taking offense to the remarks, addressed her followers while demonstrating her physical prowess in a video posted on X.  Gage Skidmore / Wikimedia

"Ok guys, check this out: first we have Joe Biden calling all of us 'garbage.' Now Mark Cuban has come out and said there's no strong, intelligent women supporting Trump," she said before executing five pull-ups.  @mtgreenee / X

The Georgia Representative also criticized Cuban, questioning his masculinity and defending her own credentials.  @mtgreenee / X

"I graduated from UGA with a business degree, I run a very successful construction company in Georgia, and now I'm going on my third term in Congress," Greene stated, adding, "I love guns, especially AR15s, and I support president Trump."  @mtgreenee / X

This isn't Greene's first fitness-related political statement.

In May, she responded to Democrat Jasmine Crockett's criticism of her appearance with a video of clean-and-jerk exercises.  Jasper Colt / USA TODAY NETWORK

At that time, Greene wrote on X, "Yes my body is built and strong NOT with nips, tucks, plastic, or silicone, but through a healthy lifestyle."  Megan Smith-USA TODAY
