Actor Jamie Lee Curtis has issued a public plea to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, demanding the removal of an AI-generated video that uses her likeness without permission. Deepfake Misused Ruhle Interview Footage to Promote Unknown Product

The deepfake video reportedly used manipulated clips from a real interview Curtis gave to MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle in January, repackaging her image and words to promote an unknown product. “Fake words put in my mouth diminishes my opportunities to actually speak my truth,” Curtis added. Curtis Warns of AI Threat to Truth and Public Trust: “Wild Wild West”

Meta Removes Video Hours After Curtis’s Plea: “Shame Has Its Value!”
