, former South Carolina Governor and presidential candidate Nikki Haley opened up about her recent campaign experience, family challenges, and future aspirations.

Haley's campaign for the Republican presidential nomination coincided with her husband's military deployment to Africa, a situation she described as emotionally taxing. "I've never gone through any challenge without him," Haley shared, emphasizing the difficulty of facing "the toughest challenge of your life without your best friend."

The conversation took a somber turn when discussing former President Donald Trump's comments about her husband's absence. Haley responded, "For me, it's not personal. I know Donald Trump. He's going to throw something just to kind of get people upset."

Reflecting on her campaign experience, Haley expressed gratitude. "I am so blessed," she said, acknowledging the support of her family, friends, and campaign team. Despite suspending her campaign, Haley remained proud of her efforts, stating, "I left it all on the field. I don't know anything else I could have done."

The interview also touched on personal loss, with Haley discussing the recent passing of her father, Ajit Singh Ron. She spoke about her parents' journey from India and their pride in her accomplishments. "I owe it all to them," Haley remarked.

When asked about her future plans, Haley remained noncommittal about another presidential run. "I think you never say never, but I don't know how you can be someone who goes through all of that and says, oh, let's run for president again," she mused.

However, she affirmed her commitment to maintaining a public role, stating, "I know my voice will always be out there. I know I'll always be active in some way."
