British comedian Russell Brand faced questioning by police in 2014 over claims of sexual assault.
The allegations stem from an incident where a masseuse accused Brand of inappropriately touching her and making her feel “like a prostitute.” The encounter occurred at a mansion in Oxfordshire, England, where the masseuse had been hired to give Brand a birthday massage, according to a recent report from The Sun.
The masseuse alleged that Brand touched her in a sexual manner for approximately 40 minutes before he was asked to leave. The masseuse reported the incident to Thames Valley Police, which questioned Brand, but ultimately decided not to pursue the case.
These new allegations add to the mounting accusations against Brand, who is currently being investigated for allegedly sexually assaulting four women between 2006 and 2013.
The British comedian has denied all allegations, claiming that the relationships were consensual.
Despite his denials, YouTube has suspended Brand from making money on its platform. iHis pub, Crown Inn, has been temporarily closed, and the BBC has initiated a review into Brand’s tenure at the network.
